Welcome to the PA Primary Day post here at PPD - I’m your guide, GOP political consultant Christopher Nicholas.
If you’re a Republican or Democrat here in PA, polls are open from 7am - 8pm in our Municipal Primary.
The biggest race in PA this year - the up or down Retention votes on the three Democratic Supreme Court Justices - will occur in our November General Election and will attract national attention. (Here in the Keystone State we elect all of our judges - local, county and state. After their initial 10-year term, our County and State judges do not run for re-election, but rather stand for Retention, a simple up or down Yes/No vote.)
